Today, we worked with an app called Sphere. This app is very similar to taking a panoramic photograph with your phone or tablet, except this takes the panorama to a whole new level. With this app, you can take a panoramic shot with the area above and below too! This could be used in the classroom by taking it to places that it would not be practical to take the whole class. These photos could be used in presentations to show the class a place that they might not be able to go themselves. Also, in a writing class, you could have your students find a spot that means something to them, record it, and then write a paper detailing why they took the photo and why it meant so much to them.
